After practicing dentistry for over 20 years in India, Bahrain, and the UAE, Dr. Bindu Philip came to Canada determined to continue her passion for patient care grounded in compassion and respect. She founded Northbridge Dental with a clear vision: to create a welcoming dental practice where every patient feels valued and cared for like family. From the outset, Dr. Philip designed the clinic with intention. Collaborating with her family — including her architect daughter, who helped create the calm, earthy tones and soothing design — she built a spacious, uncluttered environment that prioritizes comfort and ease rather than rushing through appointments. Every detail was chosen to help patients feel relaxed from the moment they arrive. Dr. Philip stays closely involved in the daily care at the clinic. She ensures every patient receives attentive support, whether seeing her directly or one of our associate dentists who share the same gentle, patient-focused values. Our team takes time to listen carefully and communicates with clarity and kindness. We believe in transparency and informed decision-making. When treatment is recommended, we review X-rays and intraoral photos with you, clearly explain the reasons related to your oral health and function, and discuss all options — including costs, timelines, and what to expect. Elective cosmetic procedures are only explored if you bring them up first. If a more conservative or practical approach would serve you better, we will gladly share that recommendation. Dr. Bindu Philip is the founder and Practice Principal of Northbridge Dental in Waterloo, Ontario. With over 25 years of clinical experience and NDEB certification in Canada, she has practiced dentistry across multiple countries, bringing a rich global perspective and a deeply compassionate approach to patient care.
Dr. Philip is passionate about delivering patient-centered, comprehensive dentistry for families, university students, and working professionals throughout the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge region. She has a special interest in endodontics (root canal therapy), cosmetic dentistry, and especially Invisalign clear aligner therapy, where she is a certified provider.
As a proud member of The American Academy of Clear Aligners, Dr. Philip loves helping patients achieve the bright, beautiful, confident smiles they’ve always wanted — comfortably and discreetly. Many of her patients choose Invisalign at meaningful turning points in life: brides and grooms preparing for their wedding day, and university students getting ready to step into the professional corporate world. She takes time to understand each patient’s goals and creates personalized treatment plans that fit seamlessly into busy schedules.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Philip is a warm and vibrant person who believes in balance and joy. She has a great passion for cooking delicious meals, enjoys long drives or motorcycle rides with her husband, and loves relaxing on the beach whenever she gets the chance. These moments of calm and connection help her bring renewed energy and genuine care to every patient she sees.

Dr. Saurabh Jain is a jovial and humble dental professional with a focus on oral and maxillofacial urgeries. Before relocating to Canada, he rendered his services in numerous hospitals and clinics for over a decade. After completing the equivalency process, he is now a licensed general dentist in Canada, concentrating on treatments related to oral surgery. Dr. Jain is among the elite practitioners involved in cleft surgeries and facial beautification surgeries, having received specialized training from the GSR Institute of Facial Plastic Surgery and CCI in Zurich. The Indian Dental Association recognized his extensive work by appointing him as a Tobacco Intervention Initiative Specialist. An active participant in international forums and a contributor to various publications, Dr. Jain is a life member of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI), as well as a member of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) and the International Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. With over 13 years of experience, he has operated on more than 25,000 wisdom teeth, 250 jaw and facial fractures, 500 maxillofacial pathologies, and has placed hundreds of dental implants to date.

Dr. Liya Ann Jose is a dedicated General Dentist who earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India, in 2018. She brings over three years of international clinical experience in preventive and comprehensive dental care.
Dr. Jose moved to Canada in 2022 and successfully completed her licensing exam. She believes in clear communication and patient education, striving to make every dental visit a positive, comfortable, and stress-free experience. Committed to evidence-based care, she continuously updates her knowledge to deliver the best possible outcomes for her patients.
Fluent in English and Malayalam.

Lakshay is a dedicated Dental Hygienist who completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in India in 2017. Since moving to Canada in 2022 and completing his dental hygiene studies, he has enjoyed bringing his extensive experience to the local community at Northbridge Dental.
Lakshay’s favorite part of his job is building strong relationships with his patients. Thanks to his comprehensive training, he excels at explaining dental health in a clear and thorough manner. He thrives in a structured, professional environment and is committed to ensuring every patient leaves their appointment feeling confident in their smile.

Unnati Naik is a dedicated Certified Dental Assistant with over 10 years of experience in the field. Passionate about patient care, she strives to create a comfortable and reassuring environment for every individual while supporting smooth and efficient dental procedures.

After moving to Canada, Afrahe pursued a Diploma in Healthcare Leadership, gaining advanced knowledge in healthcare systems, patient coordination, and organizational management. She is passionate about creating a welcoming and efficient environment, ensuring smooth communication, seamless scheduling, and a positive experience for every patient.

Anjali Tuteja is an internationally trained dental professional dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of care and prioritizing patient wellbeing. Anjali loves being part of a team that transforms smiles. Her main goal is to ensure every patient feels heard, comfortable, and safe in the chair. To bring her best energy to work each day, she stays active through yoga, badminton, table tennis, and cooking, which help her maintain a balanced and refreshed perspective.
